In Search of Mozart is award-winning film-maker Phil Grabsky’s long-awaited feature-length documentary on Mozart’s life.
Produced in association with some of the world’s leading orchestras, opera houses and musicians, the film travels 25,000 miles through Europe in search of the real story of Mozart. It also features performances and interviews with over 70 of the world’s most significant artists – including Renée Fleming, Magdalena Kožená, Angelika Kirchschlager, Louis Langrée, Julian Rachlin, Roger Norrington, Imogen Cooper, the Orchestra of the 18th Century, the Salzburg Camerata and many others.
Providing a refreshing and in-depth look at this much-loved composer, this film charts his career, exposes many myths, and explores the real world of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
