Education Projects

The Barber Institute of Fine Arts is running an exciting competition for young visitors to win their very own coin. Visitors have to design a piece of jewellery, which should be based on one of the coins displayed in the exhibition Encounters:
Travel and Money in the Byzantine World. Here are the winning entries so far.  If you wish to enter the competition, pick up an Encounters family guide from the Coin Gallery, and send your design to the following address:
