Community Day
Join us for a packed day of FREE activities at
the Barber during the University’s open day for all the family.

Sunday 13 June 12 noon – 5 pm

Two-Minute Portraits:
11.30 am - 1 pm. Drop-in

Watch a demonstration by our Learning and Access Officer, Tess Radcliffe, and then try your hand at copying a Barber masterpiece.

Curators’ Tours Objects of Affection

Join the Barber’s Director, Ann Sumner, and co-curator, Christiana Payne, for these special guided tours of our current major exhibition.

Family Seaside Holidays!
All Day - drop-in


Come to the beach with artist Angela Connors in this seaside holiday-themed craft activity for all ages based on our exhibition Objects of Affection. Brett loved going on coastal holidays to Cornwall and Wales with his wife and children, where he used to paint and sketch the landscape, so make sure you pop in and get creative with us!
