‘… not only a great performance, one of the most fantastic musical experiences you are ever likely to encounter — dazzling performances’
The Yorkshire Post
Peter Hill is an eminent pianist and scholar working on contemporary and twentieth-century music. He was awarded first prize at Darmstadt for his performances of Cage and Stockhausen, and his recording of Messiaen’s solo piano works, made with the composer’s help and encouragement, was described as ‘one of the most important recording projects of recent years’ (The New York Times). Benjamin Frith won first prize in the Rubinstein Piano Masters Competition and the Busoni International Piano Competition. A prizewinner also in the Mozart Memorial Competition, he has appeared with many of the world’s finest orchestras, including the Berlin Symphony, BBC Scottish, CBSO, London Mozart Players, Royal Philharmonic and BBC Philharmonic.
