Amateur artists from the Barber's adult workshops have used paintings from the permanent collection and the recent Turner exhibition as the starting point for the work featured in this exhibition. Some have drawn from models whose poses reflect those in particular paintings in the gallery, while others have experimented with watercolours to produce their own vibrant responses to Turner’s sea paintings.
