Looking at the Moon
For many months the European space probe, SMART-1, has been orbiting the moon, sending back new information about the lunar surface and taking spectacular photographic images. In conjunction with Moonrise over Europe, a selection of these photographs, generously lent by the Particle Physics and Astronomy Research Council, are on public display for the first time at the Barber, together with explanations of the very latest techniques and advances in moon-watching.
