KINO 10 at the Barber
Birmingham moving image exhibition project KINO 10 returns to the Barber for a season of celluloid events. A firm believer in cinematic showmanship and building an event around film exhibition, KINO 10 strives to create a unique atmosphere and an alternative filmic experience through specially-curated programming and screening in unusual places.

As part of LGBTQ History Month, join us for a romantic evening of short films and animations exploring love and desire across boundaries in lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender, queer and straight relationships with KINO10. Wine and chocolates will be served along with a love trail tour and talk throughout the galleries.

The Festival of Colour (Holi) is the inspiration for the third evening of short films and animations with KINO10 exploring Indian life and culture. Enjoy a live musical performance by sampad of intercultural global rhythms between screenings, as well as Indian refreshments, a tour of Indian objects and the most colourful European paintings in the Barber’s collections.
