George Blacklock and Anita Taylor are colleagues at Wimbledon College of Art who both use historical works to inspire their own studio practices. Using Jan Gossaert’s Hercules and Deianira (left), the pair have produced distinctive and contrasting responses to the Barber’s 16th-century masterpiece (below).
