Gallery Shop

The Barber Institute shop stocks a range of publications on the Barber Collection, including a full colour guide to the collection, written by the former Director, Professor Richard Verdi (£12.95), and published by Scala; a complete black and white handbook of the collection, written by Senior Curator, Paul Spencer-Longhurst (£7.95). There is also a selection of full colour catalogues to recent exhibitions, including The Sun Rising Through Vapour: Turner’s Early Seascapes and Thomas Gainsborough: The Harvest Wagon [all softbacks].

The catalogue, which is 72 pages long, and generously illustrated in full colour throughout, includes an essay by the exhibition's curator, Paul Spencer-Longhurst, the Senior Curator of the Barber Institute, on Swedish Landscape Painting from 1850 – 1910. It costs £9.95 (p&p costs are below).
